Camera Porn
Thursday 18 May 2006 @ 7:05 pm

Let’s face it: We all like nice craftsmanship and we could spend hours looking at our old friends emoticon Well, this is the oldest taken with the youngest (Canon 350D). They both see the sun equally. You had recognized the Leica IIIf red-dial and self-timer with a trusted Elmar 50mm f/2.5. The book is one from Salgado …

Guitar player by the window
Thursday 11 May 2006 @ 12:27 am

Photography shouldn’t be complicated. A nice model (Ok, I might not be very subjective here … ), a nice prop (Can’t go wrong with a guitar) and the most important thing: Light. Light coming from a window will definitely do wonder.

Too many sins …
Tuesday 9 May 2006 @ 1:48 am

By the number of purify fountain in Japan, I’d guess that Japanese are big sinners. There are fountains where you can get purified at every corner !!

Golden Pavillon
Friday 5 May 2006 @ 2:28 am

Haaaa .. a bit of history on 400iso !! Kinkakuji (Golden Pavilion) is a Zen temple formally known as Rokuonji. In 1397 construction started on the Golden Pavilion as part of a new residence for the retired shogun Ashikaga Yoshimitsu. Kinkakuji was converted into a Zen temple after Yoshimitsu’s death in 1408. The Golden Pavilion functions as shariden, housing sacred relics of the Buddha and is covered in gold leaf. The present building dates from 1955 as the pavilion was burnt by a fanatic monk in 1950.

This picture was taken during my 2005 trip to Japan. I’m scanning my last color prints !
