J'ai upgrade WordPress a la derniere version et installe le plugin Akismet. Il check les commentaires dans une grosse base de spam et decide si ils sont valides ou non ... Nous verrons bien ...
I have upgraded WordPress to the latest version and installed the Akismet plugin. Akismet checks your comments against the Akismet web serivce to see if they look like spam or not. It gives thumbs up or down … We’ll see if it works properly. Hopefully my inbox won’t be flood with nasty spam.
I’ve been hit by increasing number of spam on 400iso and I’m truning off comments at this point until I find a suitable way to deal with the situation. Thanks !
Voila l'arrivee tant attendu ! Leo et Nicolas sont nes le 19 Decembre. Tout s'est bien passe et tout le monde revient a la maison vendredi !! Joyeux Noel a tout le monde !
Well, this is it folks. The family has been extended to 5 ! Leo and Nicolas were borned December 19th as planned. Everything went fine and they both come back home tomorrow with my very courageaous wife. Something different is about to begin, very exciting !!

Il est toujours tres difficile de visualiser un sac photo quand notre magasin prefere ne l'a pas en stock. On ne sait jamais si il va etre trop grand ou trop petit. We all know how difficult it is to visualize a bag unless going to the store and look at it. The problem is that most retailers don’t carry all kind of bags in stock and so we’re left with small pictures of bag on the internet … Well this nice WEBSITE has tested hundred of bags and posted pictures with gears inside them (DSLR unfortunately, but better than nothing)

J'ai enfin trouve un moyen simple pour supporter le Francais sur 400iso.com ! J'utilise ce plugins wordpress basicbilingual qui me permet d'editer et d'afficher mes posts en 2 langues. Quel bonheur ... PS: Non, je ne vais pas traduire les entrees precedentes du blog :-)
I’ve finally found an easy way to make 400iso.com bilingual ! I’m using this nice wordpress plugins basicbilingual which allow me to edit and display both text nicely. Excellent !

400iso is going thru some changes (Mostly transfering registar …) and should experience some technical difficulty during the next few days or so. Sorry for the inconvenience. I know that it’s tough to survive without a daily dose of 400iso
I’ve been debating with myself a lot with the Google AdSense program but without really knowing what it does, how to use it and the added value around it. So today, I’ve decided to join the program and add a few ad on my photoblog. Multiple reasons for this decision:
1/ I want to learn what it really does
2/ I’d like to know if it add values to my visitor (U tell me …)
3/ I wouldn’t mind some revenue to cover some of my developement cost (There, I said it.) I realize that my trip to Japan had a cost (other than airplane, foods …). With 26 rolls of film and the associated development (yes I have been lazy for the black and white and gave the rolls to a lab …) we’re looking at a $400ish bill. I don’t regret one picture I took during the trip. But I realize that with the good news coming at the end of the year (more on this later … ) I’m going to need to start saving. If I could cover some of the cost with the AdSense program, it would be stupid not to try. So there it is. I have no idea if I’m going to make a buck in a year … I’m curious and this is also why I had to try it

I finally took the time to update my photoblog. I have been using my-expressions.com for the previous version and while I really enjoyed their service, I was looking for more flexibility. I’ve tried a few blog infrastructure and settled on WordPress which really make it easy to create something quickly and yet seems powerful enough to allow something profesional-like. I’ll try to post more pictures in the future but also I’d like to try to post articles on some thought I have about photography and where it is headed. I might also comment on some photography related news I find interesting.
I hope you’ll enjoy this new version ! Comments are always welcome !
